Equipment Hire/Lease
As the global search for oil continues, OSRL/EARL continues to supply Tier 1
equipment for coastal protection and immediate local use offshore. Packages
were deployed to even more countries in 2007, including Scotland, Wales,
Denmark, Morocco, Iran, Uganda, Libya, Mauritania, Indonesia and Philippines.
Equipment included booms, skimmers, floating storage tanks, dispersant spray
systems and dispersant, all terrain vehicles (ATV) and PPE.



All hires were supported by OSRL/EARL providing operator training in the
theory, use and maintenance of the equipment. These took place in situ,
sometimes onshore and other times offshore. If equipment was on hire for
long periods, maintenance and additional training were provided. Should a
spill occur, all hire contracts are backed up by our Technical Advisor using our
regional and global response services.
